Once you're here, you won't want for a single thing. The Algarve is home to some amazing haute cuisine, relaxing beach life, energising golf culture, endless historical sites of interest for history buffs and a thriving art and shopping scene. There's no shortage of things to do once you're settled. Getting There
Getting to Portugal from the UK and Europe is incredibly easy. Flights arrive daily at Faro International Airport and Lisbon. Monarch, Ryan Air, BA, Easy Jet. you name it and they probably fly here. We recommend you take a look at www.skyscanner.net for all your flight needs.
Once in Portugal, many of the hotels have shuttle services to and from major tourist destinations. Alternatively, you can hire a car, and there are also national train and bus services. Portuguese Trains
You'll be surprised how efficient, inexpensive and well connected the Portuguese train system is. A high speed train travels from the Algarve to Lisbon within three hours, and the Algarve train will take you from Vila Real to Lagos, stopping at all the major towns along the way.
